2011 Emmy Awards Winners List: A Modern Family Night!

Did you catch tonight’s Emmy Awards? Winners list can be found below! It was a great night for Modern Family, who took home five awards, including Best Comedy for the second year in a row. If you’re not watching this show by now, it’s time for you to start. Add it to your DVR queue. Now. The entire adult cast of the comedy was nominated in the categories of Best Supporting Actor (which Ty Burrell won) and Best Supporting Actress (which Julie Bowen won). Additionally, the show earned an Emmy for directing (Michael Alan Spiller) and writing (Steve Levitan, Jeffrey Richman). It even prompted host Jane Lynch to say after a commercial break, ‘Welcome to the Modern Family Awards!’. So come on, watch it already. You’ll be glad you did.
