Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. Winner America?s Got Talent!

Last night Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr stole the show and won America’s Got Talent 2011 season. Laudau is a singer from Logan, West Virginia. He is also the grandson of Reverend Cecil Murphy who was one of the Five Pioneers. Landau’s grandfather was very active in getting Landau involved in the church. Landau grew up being an entertainer to his family and friends. He would sing songs from his favorite artists like Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and the Temptations. Landau’s quest to win a talent show began when he made a bet in 2003 that he would win a talent show in his town. The crowd response was so wonderful that they asked Landau to come back again. Landau began singing for local charitable organizations in his spare time. His job during the day was to work at a car dealership washing cars. Landau continued to pursue his dream and last night his dream came true. He won the $1 million dollar prize and also has been booked to perform at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
